I have been drawing and painting since I was old enough to hold pencil or brush. As a young girl, I searched for clues from the past around my family’s former dairy farm in Central New York. I earned my Master’s degree in Art from The State University of New York at Oswego. During my husband’s corporate career, we moved frequently, and I used my interest in local history to connect to each new location and inspire my art. Since moving to Central Ohio, I have noticed farms rapidly disappearing from suburban development. I always have my camera at the ready to capture these fleeting images. I currently work in colored pencil, oil and acrylic painting, and collage.
